St Alban's Orthodox Church is a community of Orthodox Christians worshipping in the Medway towns.

For over 10 years we have been seeking to live the Orthodox Christian life together, praying first of all in Maidstone, and then more recently in our own church in Chatham. Over the last few years we have worked hard to make St Alban's British Orthodox Church a welcoming and prayerful place, where Christians from many ethnic and religious backgrounds can worship God together.

The British Orthodox Church is part of the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate, and in full communion with sixty million Oriental Orthodox Christians around the world and in the British Isles.

All of our services are in English, and we welcome Christians from all backgrounds to come and visit us, and experience something of the Orthodox way of praying, worshipping, and living. It is only possible for us to offer Holy Communion to Orthodox Christians, but everyone is warmly welcome to pray with us, and to receive the antidoron, the blessed bread of fellowship.
