About our Clergy
Father Peter Farrington
Our priest is Father Peter Farrington. He became a member of the British Orthodox Church within the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate in 1994. Over the last ten years he has been a committed member of the community in West Kent, and has served as a Reader and then a Subdeacon. He was recently ordained as Deacon, and then as a Priest, by Abba Seraphim, our Bishop.
Father Peter comes from an Evangelical background and was attracted to the Orthodox faith after studying at an Evangelical Bible College for three years. His search for original Christianity led him to Orthodoxy. He remains committed to sharing our faith with those in the Medway Towns who do not yet know Jesus Christ for themselves.

Father Michael Robson
Since we first began praying together more than ten years ago we have relied on the dedication of Father Michael Robson who has been our priest and spiritual father from the beginning.
We are sad that he has become too unwell to celebrate the liturgy with us, but he remains our father and friend, and we are grateful for all of the years of service he has willingly given. It is true to say that St Alban's Orthodox Church would not be worshipping in Chatham had it not been for Father Michael's prayers and efforts.

Abba Seraphim with His Holiness Pope Shenouda
Our bishop is H.E. Metropolitan Seraphim. We are grateful to be in his care and he has been a faithful father to us for many years.
